According to Dutch legislation on anti-money laundering rules, a maximum of €50 may be spent per online transaction with a gift card. This applies to all gift cards in the Netherlands, including Festival Gift Card. Say: You want to make a payment of €150,-, you can pay up to €50,- via your Festival Gift Card. You pay the remaining €100 with iDEAL or another payment method. Would you like to spend a larger amount with your gift card? Then we recommend, for example, buying two separate tickets in two separate transactions, so you can use several times €50,-. Your remaining balance will of course remain valid and can be used again on a subsequent order. We understand that this is not ideal. That is why we are affiliated to the Branchevereniging Gift Cards Netherlands, which is actively committed to making this regulation more flexible in the future. When a chosen event cannot continue, it is of course very annoying! When you have settled a ticket with your Festival Gift Card, a new agreement has been reached during the settlement process, namely between you and the event organizer.  Thus, when an event cannot continue, it is up to the organizer to take the necessary measures. We are only a payment method, just like iDeal, Paypal or Credit Card and in many cases have already paid out gift card to the respective organizer. Always ask the organizer of the event or how to get your money back, because they should arrange this for you.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to extend the validity of your Festival Gift Card. This is not because we would not like it, but unfortunately it is not technically possible. So you should really spend your gift card within 2 years of it being activated.
